What are biomolecules? Are chemicals that are made in side a living thing.

Define and give examples of monosaccharides: Are composed of one single sugar unit, sweet to taste soluble in water and are found in chocolate fruit and soft drinks e.g. Glucose and fructose
Define and give examples of Disaccharides: Are composed of two sugar units, soluble in water, sweet to taste. e.g. Sucrose: table sugar(glucose + fructose) and Maltose: found in germinating seeds.
Define and give examples of polysaccharides: Are made of many sugar units, insoluble or slightly soluble water, sweet to taste and often consist of thousands of monosaccharides joined together. e.g. cellulose and glycogen.
