The Characteristics of life

| The continuity of life means? | that living things arise from other living things of the same type. |
| Define Life? | The possession of all the following characteristics: Organised, requiring nutrition and excretion, capable of responding and reproducing. |
| What does organisation mean? | Means that living things are composed of cells, tissue, organs and organ systems. |
| What is nutrition? | Is the way Organisms get and use food. |
| What is excretion? | is the removal of waste products of metabolism from the body. |
| What is response? | is the way in which all living things react to changes in their environment. |
| What is reproduction? | Is the production of new individuals. |
| What is the difference between sexual reproduction and asexual reproduction? | Sexual: involves the union of sex cells. Asexual: does not involve the union of sex cells. |
