Ribosomes A small grain like structure in the cytoplasm of a cell where proteins are made
Golgi Body A structure in a cell that receives proteins and other newly formed material from the endoscoplasmic reticulum, packages them and distributes them to other parts of the cell.
Chloroplast A structure in the cell of plants and some other organism that captures sunlight and uses it to produce food.
Vacuole A sac inside that acts as a storage area
Lysosomes A small, round structure that breaks down large food particles into smaller ones
Lipid energy rich organic compound, such as fat, oil or way that is made of carbon hydrogen and oxygen
Protien Large organic molecule made of carbon, hydrogen , oxygen, nitrogen and sometimes sulfur.
Cell The basic unit of structure and function in living things
Enzymes A type of protein that speeds up a chemical reaction in a living thing
Chlorophyll A green pigment found in the chloroplast of plants algae and some bacteria.
