| yeast | A yellow fungi that aids in fermentation |
| heredity | The study of genetics |
| law of segregation | Mendel's theory that offspring get traits from their parents. |
| law of independent assortment | That each gene/trait is independent and isn't affected by other traits |

| vaccine | A treatment that prevents a person from getting a certain disease in the future |

| artificial insemination | When you unnaturally take sperm and insert it into a female genitalia |
