The cellular chemical processes

QuestionAnswer
Atoms The basic building blocks of all matter.
Molecules A group of atoms that are held together by chemical bonds.
Lipids A fat molecule that does many jobs such as storing energy. Does not mix with water
Proteins A molecule that is made up of amino acids and that is needed to build and repair body structures and to regulate the body as enzymes.
Carbohydrates A source of energy found in sugars, starches, and fiber.
Nucleic Acids A molecule that carries information throughout the cell.
phospholipid lipids that contain phosphorous,make up the cell membrane.And aid in the process called osmosis.
