nucleus organelle that contains all the instructions for how to run a cell
mitochondrion organelle that chemically reacts oxygen with sugars to release energy, carbon dioxide, an d water
chloroplast organelle in a plant cell that uses sunlight energy to chemically react carbon dioxide with water to produce sugars and oxygen
vacuole organelle that stores materials inside a cell
unicellular adjective to describe an organism made of only one cell
multicellular adjective to describe an organism made of many cells
nervous system organ system in humans that communicates information within the body and communicates information between the body and the outside world
muscular system organ system in humans that makes voluntary and involuntary movement possible
skeletal system organ system in humans that provides structure and protection and which muscles pull against
digestive system organ system in humans that breaks down and absorbs nutrients from food
