What are the two types of sweat glands? eccrine (most common) and apocrine (less common)
What is the main function of the eccrine glands? Heat control, sweat is released so that it can evaporate- taking heat with it.
Where are apocrine glands most commonly found? armpits, and pretty much anywhere that pubic hair grows.
What do ceruminous glands produce? Ear wax. Yeah, gross.
What is the main function of ear wax? To keep foreign bodies (dust, bugs etc...) from getting into the inner ear.
Where are sebaceous glands located? hair ducts- they make oil that keep the skin and hair moist
