If a solution is 9% NaCl, and a cell is 20% NaCl, will the cell shrink, swell, or stay the same? The Cell will swell
If the solution is 25% glucose, and the cell is 10% glucose, is the cell hypertonic, hypotonic, or isotonic? The cell is hypotonic.
Is the body in osmotic equilibrium or disequalibrium? The body is in osmotic equilibrium.
Are the amounts of water the same in the intracellular fluid and in the interstitial fluid? no
Is the body in chemical equilibrium or disequilibrium? The body is in chemical disequilibrium.
Is the sodium potassium pump an example of a uniport, cotransport symport, or cotransport antiport? The sodium potassium pump is an example of cotransport antiport.
Is GLUT transport passive or active transport? GLUT is passive transport.
Is the potassium levels at a higher concentration inside or outside of our cells? We have higher potassium levels inside our cells.
What ion is required in SGLT to transport glucose across the membrane? A sodium ion is required to transport glucose across the membrane in SGLT.
In GLUT, is glucose moving with or against its concentration gradient? In GLUT, glucose is moving with its concentration gradient.
