Vestigial Organs Body structures /organs that are no longer used by an organism
Coevolution Species evolve in response to changes in another (butterfly / flower)
Adaption Inherited trait that helps an organism survive
Convergent Evolution Unrelated species develop similar characteristics due to similar environments
Fossil Traces of an organism from the past shows transitions among species over time
Adaptive radiation One species gives rise to many new species when introduced to new environments
