Code of Ethics The core values of a field that guides professionals. NAEYC offers a detailed code of ethics for those who work with children
Values Qualities or priciples that individuals believe are desirable and worthwhile and they "prize"
Morality The view of what is right and proper, ideas about how they should behave.
Professional Ethics The moral commitments of a profession that help professionals resolve moral dilimmas
Ethical Dilemma A moral conflict that involves determining appropriate conduct in a given situation.
Mandated Reporter A person who works with children is required by law to report any suspicion of abuse or neglect.
Confidentiality protecting the privacy if children and their famlies
