experiment test to see the affects of a situation.
independent variable the factor that is changed in an experiment.
dependent variable whats being measured in the experiment.
constants factors that do not change.
theory explanation supported by evidence.
microscope provides an enlarged image of an object.
gene segment of DNA that stores genetic information.
molecular genetics` study and manipulation of DNA on a molecular level. ability to change DNA of organisms.
genomics study of DNA sequences.
biotechnology use of living things and biological processes.
transgenic organisms organisms that have genes from a different species.
