Diffusion : the net movement of particles from an area of higher concentration.
Dynamic Equilibrium : continuous movement but no overall concentration.
Hydrogen Bound : oppostite charges between hydrogen and oxygen atoms of another water molecule.
Polar Molecule : unequal distribution of charge, postive & negitive end.
Amino Acid : basic building blocks of proteins.
Carbohydrate : organic compound used by cells to store and release energy.
Enzyme : a protein that changs the rate of chemical reaction.
Isomer : chemical formula but diffrent three-dimensional structures.
Lipid : large biomolecules that are made mostly of carbon and hydrogen with a small amount of oxygen.
Nucleic Acid : a complex biomoleculethat store cellular information in the form of a code.
Nucleotides : polymers made of smaller subnits.
Peptide Bond : the covalent bond formed between the amino acids.
Polymer : a large molecule formed by a chemical reactions known as condensation.
Protein : large complex polymer composed of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and sometimes sulfer.
