What are hydrogen bonds?

Weak temporary bonds formed between water molecules. The slightly negativly charged oxygen "bonds" with the slightly positivly charged hydrogens of other water molecules. This is responsible for water's cohesiveness.

What was Lamark's theory?

That an organism changes its traits to be more beneficial. Then it passes on these traits to its offspring. ie. A giraff stretches it neck to eat high growing food, and passes on the long neck trait to its offspring.
