| Pallisade mesophyll cells | Carry out photosynthesis |
| Phloem cell | Transport glucose or dissolved food |
| Xylem cells | Transport water and mineral salts |
| Guard cells | Control the size of the stoma |
| Tissue | A group of similar cells that work together to perform a specific function |
| Epithelial tissue | Lining of the skin |
| Nervous tissue | Nerves |
| Smooth muscle tissue | Smooth muscle tissue,Cardiac muscle and Skeletal muscles |
