| Term | Definition |

| Penis | the male reproductive organs. |
| Testicle | Glands located below the penis that create the sperm cells. |
| Scrotum | Pouch of skin that surrounds the testicles to keep them at the right temperature. |
| Sperm Duct | Canal in penis that transports the semen out of the male reproductive organs. |
| Prostate Gland | Gland that secretes a fluid that mixes with sperm to create semen. |
| Ovary | The organ where female sex cells (ovum) are created and mature. |
| Ovum | Female sex cell (egg) |
| Fallopian Tube | Where the egg (ovum) and the sperm unite. Also the tube that connects the ovaries to the uterus. |
| Uterus | Major female reproductive organ where the fetus (fertilized egg) will grow. |
| Period | The process when the lining of the uterus thickens for the fetus to grow. If not fertilized the lining is released. |
| Ovulation | Ovary releasing the ovum. |
| Vagina | A muscular tube that expands to fit the penis during intercourse. |
| Seminal Vesicle | Fluid that will eventually mix with other fluids to create semen. |
