FOOD CHAIN is a sequence of who eats who in a biological community to obtain nutrition. grassland biome : grass -> grasshopper -> rat -> snake -> hawk
PRODUCER organisms that make their own food from sunlight or chemical energy. grassland biome : grass
PRIMARY CONSUMER are animals that eat primary producers, also called herbivores. grassland : grasshopper
SECONDARY CONSUMER eat primary consumers. grassland biome : rat
TERTIARY CONSUMERS eat secondary consumers. grassland : snake
QUATERNARY CONSUMERS eat tertiary consunmers. grassland : hawk
AUTOTROPHS scientific name for primary producers. grassland : grass
HETEROTROPHS scientific name for all consumers. grassland : hawk, rat, snake, shark
