Food Chain A model that describes how energy passes from one organism to another
Producer(Primary) Bacteria produces food by chemical energy
Primary Consumer animals that eat primary producers
Secondary Consumer animals that eat primary consumers
Tertiary Consumer they eat secondary consumers
Quaternary Consumer They eat tertiary consumers
Autotrophs an organism capable of self nourishment using inorganic materials as source of nutrients
Heterotrophs organism requiring organic compounds for its source of food
Herbivores plant-eaters
Carnivores meat eaters
Omnivores animals that eat both meat and plants
