TermDefinition
Binomial name The genus and species of an organism. e.g. Homo sapiens.
Kingdom A broad group into which organisms can be classified.
Animalia A kingdom containing animals (multicellular, no cell wall, nucleus, feed heterotrophically)
Plantae A kingdom containing plants (multicellular, cell wall, nucleus, feed autotrophically)
Prokaryotes A kingdom containing bacteria (unicellular, cell wall, no nucleus)
Fungi A kingdom (multicellular, cell wall, nucleus, feed saprophytically)
Protocista A kingdom contianing the odd ones out! (Unicellular, nucleus, cell wall)
