TermDefinition
ecosystem a group of living things that interact with each other and with their environment.
organism scientific word for a living thing.
biotic factor a living or dead organism in an ecosystem. (ex- animals, plants, bacteria)
abiotic a nonliving part of an organisms habitat. (ex- sunlight, soil, temperature)
light it is sunlight (ex- abiotic factor)
soil it is dirt (ex- abiotic factor)
temperature the whether (ex- abiotic factor)
oxygen most living things require oxygen to carry out their life processes. (ex- abiotic factor)
water all living things require water to carry out their life processes. (ex- abiotic factor)
