| Organsim | The scientific word for living things. Ex. Dog,fish,humamnns are all human beings. |
| Habitat | an environment,that provides the things a specific organsim needs to live, grow , and repoduce. |
| biotic factor | A living or once living part of an organismmms habitat. |
| Abiotic Factor | A nninliving part of an organsims habitat |
| species | A group of similar organisms that can mate with other and reproduce offspring that can also mate and reproduce. Ex.Dog species,reptiles,mouse. |

| limiting factor | A factor present in an environment that controls process, particularly the growth, abundance or distribution. |
| carrying capacity | the maximum number of individuals that a given environment can support without detrimental deffects. Ex.THe amount of birds to fit in a nest. |
