Biology Bio-Life Ology-Study of Study of living things
Organism scientific word for a living thing
Species A group of similar organisms that can mate with each other and produce offspring that can also mate and reproduce.(Insect, Arachnid, reptiles)
Ecology The study of how organisms interact with eachother and their environment
Habitat An environment that provides the things a specific organism needs to live, grow, and reproduce(The place an animal lives. A bear lives in a forest)
Population All the members of one species living in the same area (New Jersey has a populationm of ___________)
Biotic Factor A living or once living of an organism's habitat (Animals such as birds, wormss, etc.)
Community All the different populations that live together in a particular area(Perth Amboy, New Jersey)
Abiotic Factor A nonliving part of an organism's habitat (Rock, dirt, the sun, temperature)
