Behavior of Organisms

| What is Territorial Behavior? | Behavior that defends an area. |
| What is Phototropism? | The response of a plant to light. |
| What is Gravitropism? | The response of a plant to gravity. |
| What is imprinting? | Learning in which an animal bonds with the first object it sees. |
| What is learned behavior? | Behavior that results from experience. |
| What is Observational Learning? | Learning by watching or listening to the behavior of others. |
| What is Trial-and error learning? | Learning in which an animal connects a behavior with a reward or a punishment. |
| What is conditioning? | Learning in which an animal connects one stimulus with another stimulus. |
| What is Insight? | The ability to solve a new problem based on experience |
