nucleus contains the genectic make up of a cell.
ribosomes organelle that makes protein.
vacuole organelle stores water.
prokaryote bacteria cells.
eukaryote animal, plant cells.
mitosis cell division, reproduction of cells by spliting.
meiosis type of cell division that results in 2 cells with half the chromosome number of the parent cell.
monomer A molecule that can be bonded to other identical molecules to form a polymer
polymer a substance that is built up of a number of similatr molecular units that are rebonded together. natural or synthetic.
carbohydrates group of organic compounds that give us energy.
lipids a large collection of fats, oils, waxes, and fat soluble vitamins found in the human body.
proteins an organic compound.
nucleic acid a complex organic substanece, DNA.
