passive immunity Immunity passed from Mom in utero
active immunity Immunity developed from your own body
respiratory system Organ system responsible for gas exchange
circulatory system Organ system that transport oxygen, nutrients and waste
nervous system Response system
homeostasis Stable internal environment
feedback loops Process in which homeostasis is maintained
neurotransmitters Chemical released between neurons to continue message transmittal
sensory neuron Carries impulses from body to brain
interneuron Connects motor and sensory neurons, found in brain and spinal cord
motor neuron Carries impulses from brain to body, movement
