| Archaebacteria | organisms in this kingdom are found in hot springs, salt ponds, & deep-sea vents. |
| Plantae | This kingdom includes organisms in the divisons Bryophyta, Pterophyta,Coniferophyta, & Anthophyta; cell walls are made of cellulose. |
| Kingdom | The second largest group in the biological classification system. |
| Eubacteria | Salmonella and Streptococcus, organisms that cause illness, are in this kingdom. |
| Domains | The largest group of the classification system; uses ribosomals RNA to classify organisms. |
| Aristotle | The scientist who developed the first classification system; it only had two categories- Plants & Animals. |
| Fungi | The kingdom of mushrooms, yeast, & lichens; cell wall is made of chitin; decomposers. |
