Acquaintances -People you know but who are not your close friends
Rapport -A balanced, harmonious atmosphere between two people
Risk-Taker -Choosing to share personal information with others that could lead to acceptance
Passive -Going along with whatever is said or done in a group
Aggresive -A type of behavior that includes yelliing, name-calling criticizing, pushing, shovving and possible violence
Assertive -When a personusing direcr eye contact and genuine expressions and gestures to let other people know what he or she thinks or intends to do
Support Network -Relatives who help each other with child care, parenting, and daily problems
Significant Adult -Nonparental adults who play some important part in a person's life
Multiculuralism -A society with people of different cultural backgrounds
Diversity -The unique qualities of people from different cultural backgorunds; another term for multiculturalism
