What is a type of action, response, or reflex that you learn? A learned behavior
What is a structural or behavioral change that helps an animal survive better? Adaptation
What are behaviors called that animals are born doing? Instinctive or innate behavior
What is the process called where some animals die off because they don't change and others that are better adapted to their environment survive. Those animals that live pass on their traits. Natural selection
What does stimulus mean? cause (What makes an animal do something)
Why do some animals, like fish, sometimes look different from each other? They have adaptated to their environment.
What does response mean? effect (the reaction to a certain stimulus)
How long does it take for a behavioral change to happen? Quickly. During that animal's lifetime.
How long does it take for a biological (structural) change to happen? A long time... many generations.
What do we call a change to an animal's body that is passed on through inheritance? biological/ structural change
