what are catalysts? Catalysts are substances which speed up chemical reactions yet remain unchanged by the reaction they control.

an enzyme factor? enzyme pH range. Outside its pH range an enzyme is inactive.
whats pepsin pH range? 1-4
whats catalase pH range? 7-11
Whats the optimum? The optimum conditions are the conditions the enzyme works best in.
what is the optimum temperature? The optimum temperature is the temperature at which the enzyme is most active. In humans this is 37 0C.
what is the optimum pH? The optimum pH is the pH at which the enzyme is most active.
What is pepsin optimum pH? 2.5
what is amylase optimum pH? 7
what is catalase optimum pH? 9
