What is another name for the specific immune system? Adaptive immune system
What type of white blood cell plays a role in adaptive immunity? lymphocytes
What are the 2 classes of lymphocyte? B and T lymphocytes
Where do B and T lymphocytes get their names? where they are located (B=bone marrow/T=thymus is where they mature after migrating from the bone)
What type of activity do the B lymphocytes take part in? Humoral Response
What type of activity do the C lymphocytes take part in? Cell mediated response
What does humoral refer to? Fluids between cells of the body. Stuff can float in this before infiltrating a cell
