QuestionAnswer
How many details should you have in your responses? Through annotation, you must use 3 details.
What do you do to get the best score for essays? Simile/metaphor, use transition words, use quotes, use big/interesting words, have form (intro, body, + conclusion), 2 1/2 pages.
How do you form an original story? introduce characters + setting- where + when. 2+3- introduce problem. 4-climax. 5-resolution/denouement/wind down.
What should you ask yourself as you do a prompt? "What is the prompt?"
What elements of poetry should you look out for? Rhyme pattern, how many stanzas, fig. language (personification, simile, metaphor), symbolism (flag=patriotism; visible=invisible), sensory language (words or phrases that appeal to senses), theme (main idea/central idea).
