colonial organism A collection of genetically identical cells that are permantly associated but in which little or no integration of cell activities occur.
Aggregation A grouping of cells or other organisms.
Multicelluar An organism composed of many cells that are permantly acssociated with one another, such as the greeen alga.
diffrentiation the process by which cells develop a specialized form and function.
tissue A distinct group of cells with similiar structure and function.
organ system Various organs that carry out a major body funtion.
protist they are eukaryotes that are not fungi ,plants, or animals.
hyphae The slender strands of fungi.
vascular tissue Made up of specialized cells that play a role in transporting water and dissolved nutrients.
invertebrates Animals that lack a nack bone
vertebrates Animals that have a back bone.
