Producer: An Autotrophic organism such as plants and photosynthetic Bacteria that are able to produce their own organic matter for food.
Primary Consumer: Hetrotrophic organisms that are herbivores and feed on Producers.
Secondary and Teritary Consumers: Omnivores and Carnivores that feed on Primary consumers and Producers.
Trophic Level: The position an organism is located in the food chain.
Gross Primary Productivity: This is the amount of energy that is converted into organic matter by producers through photosynthesis.
Net Primary Productivity: The amount of Energy converted into Organic material by producers
