QuestionAnswer
Autotrophs An organism that can produce organic molecules from simple inorganic molecules and it can also make its own food
Chemotrophs An organism that oxidizes inorganic or organic compounds as an energy source
Phototrophs An organism that uses light as a source of energy
Photosynthesis The use of energy from light by cells to produce carbohydrate ( food )
Carbon Fixation When photosynthesis organisms such as plants turn inorganic carbon into organic compounds
Cellular Respiration All chemical reactions needed to break down carbohydrates and other molecules to transfer chemical energy to ATP
Aerobic With oxygen, being in the cytoplasm with the breakdown of glucose
Anaerobic Without oxygen
