Cell Development

| Prophase | Nucleolus disappears. Centriole begin to move to opposite ends of the cell. |
| Prometaphase | Nuclear membrane dissolves. Microtubules attach and the chromosomes begin moving. |
| Metaphase | Spindle fibers aling the chromosomes along the middle of the cell nucleus. |
| Anaphase | Paired chromosomes sparate and move to opposite sides of the cell. |
| Telophase | Chromosomes disperse and are no longer visible. Spindle fibers disperse. |
| Cytokinesis | Cell is pinched into two daugher cells, each with one nuleus. |
