Hvad er en T-dræbercelle? Når en virus inficerer en af kroppens celler, udstilles virus' endogene (indre) antigener, pga. MCH I-protein, som findes på alle celler foruden immunforsvarsceller. T-dræbercellerne kobles til den virusinficerede celle vha. sin CD8- og sin T-cellerecepto
MHC I MHC I er et protein som findes på overfladen af alle celler foruden immunforsvarscellerne.
CD8-cellereceptor CD8 er en cellereceptor som findes på T-dræbercellerne. Sammen med T-dræbercellens T-cellereceptor (TCR) kan T-dræbercellen kobles sammen med de virusinficerede cellers MHC I-protein.
Signalstof Stoffer som signalerer i eller mellem levende organismer. Fx. udsender T-hjælpecellen signalstoffer som aktiverer T-dræbercellen.
Værtscelle Virus er ikke egentlige organismer idet de ikke kan formere sig selvstændigt, men behøver en værtscelle.
TCR (T-cellereceptor) TCR er en cellereceptor som findes på T-dræbercellerne. Sammen med T-dræbercellens CD8-receptor kan T-dræbercellen kobles sammen med de virusinficerede cellers MHC I-protein.
Makrofag En af immunforsvarets ædeceller, som optager den fremmede organisme ved endocytose, hvorefter denne nedbrydes enzymatisk.
Plasmacelle En celle som producerer antistoffer tilpasset den fremmede organismes antigener. Plasmacellen dannes når B-lymfocytterne aktiveres og deler sig i plasmaceller og B-huskeceller.
B-huskecelle B-huskecellen husker de fremmede antigener til en evt. fremtidig infektion med samme mikroorganisme. B-huskecellen dannes når B-lymfocytterne aktiveres og deler sig i plasmaceller og B-huskeceller.
B-lymfocyt B-lymfocytter dannes i knoglemarven og deler sig i henholdsvis plasmaceller og B-huskeceller ved aktivering.
MHC II MHC II er et protein som findes på overfladen af alle professionelle antigenrepræsenterende celler (immunforsvarsceller).
