Cancer Uncontrolled cell production.

Dominant Gene The gene that is always expressed.
Egg Female sex cell.
Gene Part of a chromosome; instructions for a protein.
Genetics Study of how traits are passed from parent to child.
Genotype Gene pair represented as letters. (Tt, GG, ff)
Heterozygous Inheriting 2 different genes. (Tt)
Homozygous Inheriting 2 of the same genes. (GG)
Meiosis Process of making sex cells with half the number of chromosomes.
Mitosis Process of making 2 identical cells.
Phenotype how an organism looks, physical appearance.
Recessive Gene The gene covered by the dominant gene.
Sperm Male sex cell.
Trait A characteristic.
