Digestive System kid

QuestionAnswer
The Mouth Where food enters the body and is chopped up.
The Esophagus The passageway for food from the mouth to the stomach.
The Small Intestine This is where the body absorbs nutrients such as carbohydrates and fats.
The Stomach Where acids and enzymes are added to mashed up food.
The Large Intestine Where water is removed and feces (poop) is formed.
The Pancreas Releases digestive enzymes to help the small intestine absorb nutrients.
The Liver Filters blood coming from the digestive tract.
The Rectum Connects the large intestine to the anus.
The Anus Where feces (poop) leaves the body.
