QuestionAnswer
Cytoplasm portion of the cell outside of the nucleus.
Organelles specialized structures that perform important cellular functions with a eukaryotic cell.
Vacuoles stores material in a membrane-enclosed structure.
Lysosmes small organelles filled with enzymes.
Cytoskeleton helps transport materials between different parts of the cell.
Centrioles located near the nucleus and help organize cell divison.
Ribosomes small particles of RNA and protein found thoughout the cytoplasm wall.
Endoplasmic Reticulum where lipid components of the cell membrane are assembled along with proteins and other materials that atre exported from the cell.
Golgi Apparatus modifies, sorts, and packages proteins and other materials from the endoplasmic retuculum for storage in the cell or release outside the cell.
Chloroplasts biological equivlants of solar power plants,
Mitochondria convert the cemical energy stored in food into compounds thar are more convenient for the cell to use.
Cell Wall a strong supporting layer around the memnbrane.
Lipid Bilayer gives the cell membrane a flexible structure that forms a srong barrier between the cell and its surrondings.
Selectivly Permeable some substances can pass across them and others cannot.
