Dispersal (does dispersal limit? .. no? behavior) the movement of individuals away from their area of origin or centers of high population density. it could be a matter of time or a physical barrier limiting their dispersal.
Habitat Selection Behavior (does behavior limit? .. no? biotic) some organisms do not occupy their potential range, even though they may be physically capable. female insects deposit eggs only in response to a very narrow set of stimuli, which may restrict distribution.
Biotic Factors/Living Factors (do other species limit? .. no? abiotic) negative interactions with other organisms, predation, parasitism, or competition. organisms taht eat can limit distribution of organisms that get eaten.
Abiotic Factors/Non-Livign Factors (chemical or physical) temperature, water availability, salinity, sunlight, rocks and soil.
