diagnosis the process of identifying an illness
biopsy a procedure that involves the removal of a tissue sample, viewing it under a microscope, and checking for cancer cells. It is the only way to determine if a person has cancer.
radiation x-rays used to kill cancer cells
chemotherapy chemicals used to kill cancer cells
symptoms traits/features a person experiences that help a doctor determine whether or not they have a disease.
