How to cancer cells differ from non-cancerous cells? cancer cells ignore the checkpoints. Non cancerous cells follow all checkpoints.
What is the process called that changes a regular cell into a cancer cell? Transformation
What is the difference between a malignant and benign tumor? A malignant tumor grows and spreads throughout other tissues. A benign tissue just expands and doesn't move around throughout the body.
Why are malignant tumors harder to cure? Because malignant tumors grow and spread much quicker than benign tumors.
What is Metasis? The spread of a disease from one organ to another.
How does abnormal cell binding lead to metastasis? If the cells don't bind with each other properly, they can easily move from organ to organ.
True or False : Single tumors are hard to get rid of TRUEEEE.
