Respiratory System Exchanges Oxygen and carbon dioxide between blood and air
Skeletal / Muscle System muscles-Allows body movement bones- provides support
Nervous System Detects sensation which controls body reactions
Excretory System Removes waste from the body
Reproductive System Allows the species to continue
Two body systems that are needed for Respiration to occur in the cells Respiratory and Digestive Systems
Why do our cells need glucose and oxygen? To make ATP energy
ATP energy used by our cells- (made by breaking bonds in glucose and in oxygen molecules)

What is the formula for Respiration? C6 H12 O6 + 6O2 ---- ATP + 6CO2 +6H2O6 glucose + oxygen--gives-- energy + Carbon dioxide + water
What are the waste products that are released from our body after respiration occurs in our cells? Carbon Dioxide and Water
A simple sugar that all food is broken down into so that the cells can use the food. glucose C6 H12 O6
Why do you get tired if you have a stuffy nose? Because you are not getting enough oxygen to make the energy your cells need.
