cell wall! the definite boundary or wall that is part of the outer structure of certain cells, as a plant cell.
cell membrane! the semipermeable membrane enclosing the cytoplasm of a cell.
cytoplasm! the cell substance between the cell membrane and the nucleus, containing the cytosol, organelles, cytoskeleton, and various particles.
nucleolus@ a conspicuous, rounded body within the nucleus of a cell.
nucleus@ a central part about which other parts are grouped or gathered; core: A few faithful friends formed the nucleus of the club.
nuclear membrane@ the double membrane surrounding the nucleus within a cell.
nuclear pores@ large protein complexes that cross the nuclear envelope, which is the double membrane surrounding the eukaryotic cell nucleus.
cytoskeleton# cellular scaffolding or skeleton contained within a cell's cytoplasm.
