Describe follicle small group of cells surrounding the egg together
Describe process follicles go through until it becomes yellow body follicle starts to develop. As it develops it enlarges and fills with fluid, moving towards the edge of the ovary. After 2 weeks follicle bursts releasing the egg/ fluid/ some follicle cells. The remainder forms the yellow body
What happens if fertilization do not occur? egg dies and passes out of vagina, yellow body breaks down, thick lining of uterus breaks down
What does FSH stand for and what does it do? Follicle Stimulating Hormone it starts the cycle by stimulating follicles development.
When is puberty? between ages 10 ~ 14
