HMT2 Muscles

QuestionAnswer
Three types of muscles found in the body. Skeletal, Cardiac, Smooth
Skeletal Muscles Attached to bones or for some facial muscles, they are attached to skin.
Cardiac Muscles Found in the walls of the heart.
Smooth Muscles Found mostly in the walls of hollow viceral organs (other than the heart).
Endomysium Encloses a single muscle fiber.
Perimysium Wraps around a bundle of muscle fibers.
Epimysium Covers the entire skeletal muscle.
Skeltal Muscle Functions Produce movement, maintain posture, stabalize joints, generate heart.
Neuromuscular junctions Association site of axon terminal of the motor neuron and muscle
