What is an nucleus? the control center of a cell.
What is nucleolus? The nucleolus is a cellular structure found in the nucleus of eukaryotic cells.
What is a cell membrane? The outer covering of the cell consisting of a lipid bilayer with proteins embedded in it.
What is cytoplasm? The material or protoplasm within a living cell, excluding the nucleus.
What are ribosomes? a small organelle found in the cells of all lifeforms
What is endoplasmic reticulum- rough? an eukaryotic organelle that forms an interconnected network of tubules, vesicles, and cisternae within cells.
What is endoplasmic reticulum- smooth acts as a storage organelle.
What is Golgi Apparatus? an organelle where proteins (after they are made) are transported to.
What is mitochondria? An organelle found in large numbers in most cells, in which the biochemical processes of respiration and energy production occur.
What is chloroplast? A plastid that contains chlorophyll and in which photosynthesis takes place.
What is lysosome? An organelle in the cytoplasm of eukaryotic cells containing degradative enzymes enclosed in a membrane.
What is vacuole? A space or vesicle within the cytoplasm of a cell, enclosed by a membrane and typically containing fluid.
What is cytoskeleton? A microscopic network of protein filaments and tubules in the cytoplasm of many living cells, giving them shape and coherence.
What is cell wall? A rigid layer of polysaccharides lying outside the plasma membrane of the cells of plants, fungi, and bacteria
