Important structures involved in the cell cycle

QuestionAnswer
A double-stranded helix that contains the genetic information for cell growth, division, and function. DNA
This is what DNA is called when the cell is dividing. Looks like an X. chromosomes
This is what DNA is called when the cell is NOT dividing. Looks like a thread. chromatin
Tiny structures in the cytoplasm that move to opposite ends of the cell and help to organize the spindle fibers. centrioles

Cells resulting from the replication and division of a single parent cell. daughter cells
