The habit of daily self-renewal

See I must continuously renew my sources of energy to be happy and successful.
Do Stay healthy physically and emotionally and renew your mind and spirit.
Get Health, great relationships, a sharp mind, and a meaningful life.
4 basic human needs that require attention every day. Physical, social-emotional, mental, and spiritual.
Physical Food, exercise, sleep, hydration, regular checkups, and hygiene.
Social-emotional Friends, family, study groups, and social media.
Mental Schoolwork, class discussions, lectures, journals, literature, and skill development.
Spiritual Service, meditation, art, music, nature, and inspirational reading.
Sleep Sleep deprivation leads to depression, lower grades, accidents, and emotional problems. When you're tired, you're more likely to blow things out of proportion.
Nutrition Increase fruits and vegetables, choose high-quality proteins, eat carbs that don't raise your blood sugar, stay hydrated, limit highly processed foods, and avoid fad diets.
Exercise Clear your mind, work your heart, lift weights, and take a break.
Connect Take a chance. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Expand Relationships also come from the networks you build.
Build friendships. College is a great place to meet friends and develop lifelong relationships.
Date intelligently. If you get serious with somebody, bring the 7 habits along with you.
Take time for yourself. Everyone deserves an hour or so a week to just think, reevaluate how things are going, self-reflect and plan.
Stay well rounded. You become very narrow and uncreative if all you think about is one subject. Try to open your mind to new things each week.
Be a lifelong learner. After college take steps on your own initiative to expand your mind, develop new skills, read the latest information, and get ahead of the game.
Keep your spirit alive. Reflect on your personal mission statement and goals, meditate, spend time in nature, listen to inspiring music, write poetry, do service, think deeply about what matters the most, and write in a journal.
