Glial Supports cells by providing physical and chemical support to neurons and maintaining their environment.
Myelin A fatty substance and aids with the electrical process.
Dopamine affects the Senses and motor cortex.
Neurons Use electrical and chemical signals to send information between different areas of the brain, between the brain, the spinal cord, and the entire body.
Chemicals are released At the terminal button.
When axon sets messages It sends out neurotransmitters.
SSRT helps give the brain Extra serotonin.
Serotonin helps with Mood, sleep, and appetite.
Serotonin Controls your sleep and eating.
Too much dopamine can lead to Hallucinations and delusions.
A lack of dopamine can lead to Parkinson's disease.
Oxytocin Helps with bonding and connecting and to reduce pain.
Norepinephrine Helps with alertness levels and suppressed appetite.
Melatonin Gets released into the brain when tired.
Endorphins kick in When in pain
Somatic nervous system includes Thinking and muscle control.
Voluntary somatic nervous system includes The immune system which helps prepare for damaged skin and to get attacked.
Autonomic nervous system Controls everything such as heartbeat, breathing, blinking, and immune system.
Sympathetic nervous system Fight or flight response-Large predators, run away, you need adrenaline, neurotransmitters, you need strength and energy, heart rate, digestive system, and sweat increases.
