Habit 4 Study Guide

QuestionAnswer
Win-Lose: "I'm going to beat you no matter what." Always trying to be better than others.
Lose-Win: "I always get stepped on." You're not brave enough to stick up for yourself.
Lose-Lose: "If I'm going down, you're going down with me." If you can't win, then nobody wins.
Win: "As long as I win, I don't care if you win or lose." Only think of themselves.
Win-Win or No Deal: "Let's fin d a solution that works for both of us, or let's not play." There's enough to go around for everybody.
Find Out What a Deposit Is for the Other Person: You won't know unless you find out.
Do Small Acts of Kindness: Smile at someone or say hello when you pass by them.
Keep Promises: Don't commit to something unless you k now for sure you can do it. Think carefully before you make a promise.
Be Loyal: Keep confidences. Avoid gossiping. Step up for your friends.
Set Clear Expectations: Don't leave things fuzzy. Be stern.
Apologize: If you're in the wrong, admit it. Don't wait for the other person to apologize.
Give Feedback: Sincere, honest feedback is a deposit if it's done with tact, so let people know how you feel and what a win is to you.
Forgive: Learn to forgive and forget, so you don't keep hurting yourself like in the past.
